Hello! My name is Brittany, I was born and raised in the good old Valley of the Sun, Arizona and currently living up north near Prescott to stay a little cooler! Here are some questions you may have that I would love to answer!
What kind of camera do you use?
I use a Canon Rebel t3i and love it! I mainly use my 18-55mm lens along with my 50mm fixed lens for sharper portrait photos.
How long have you been doing photography?
Ever since I can remember I have been obsessed with taking photos and you hardly ever caught me without a camera! It all started out with the wonderful disposable camera and as I got older I moved to smaller digital cameras. In 2012 a dear friend purchased my Canon as a gift and I couldn't be more excited! That's when I realized that I would love to capture special occasions for people so they can cherish those moments forever.
What inspires you?
I can find inspiration in almost anything. Being outdoors is a big one for me and I love photographing nature. I find inspiration in colors and objects around me, in people, magazines and of course Pinterest. Creativity is a huge part of my life it doesn't just stop at photography. I love making scrapbooking albums, jewelry, crocheting and painting (although I'm not the best, lol).
What do you enjoy photographing the most?
When it comes to photographing people, my favorites are the natural/unexpected shots. Of course posed photos are great for headshots and I enjoy taking those however, there's something about capturing the interaction between people and facial expressions that come naturally.
